Great store, helpful staff and great prices, what more can you ask for?
It is fun browsing in person and the store has a great deal to offer. You may want to spend there as there is always something you may wanna pick up. I did fall for some of the NASCAR and MATCHBOX die cast cars, and indeed, there are other sections which will attract you.
I only wish they had a bit more variety in the binocular section as well as camera accessories.

Instead of paying 3 employees to watch shoppers go through self-checkout (and 1 is on their phone) why not make them cashiers? And security guards at the door!!!! That's not going to make it legal to stop people and ask for their receipt! Hey Walmart! You're still not BJ'S!!

the service has gotten really bad. i tried to shop today. self check out was completely closed. only a few registers were open with very long lines. saw several workers just standing around. didn't want to spend 20+ minutes in line so I left and went somewhere else. much happier.

I'm referring to the 760 Hoosick Rd Troy NY location specifically. Many items are locked up, and few registers including automatic checkouts are open. Its a horrible shopping experience, avoid this location if you can.

This Walmart is Epic Fail
I needed deodorant
It was locked up!
It took me awhile to find an employee to unlock the cabinet
The associate was nice
But
She was required to lock the deodorant into a large clear plastic box that she explained would be unlocked during checkout
Ok annoying but yeah..
I proceed through the self checkout
And I am waiting in a long line because out of a dozen check out stations only 3 are open for use
This completely unacceptable
I asked the attendant to open the box so that I could scan the 4 sticks of deodorant I was attempting to purchase
She informed me that I would have to scan them through the box and take the receipt to customer service to have them open the box
Walmart are you actually for real?
Your store policies are absolute F’n garbage
Don’t bother explaining or apologizing
I will not ever return to you POS store
Once again…in summary this place is the WORST

Had 5 small items under 40 dollars. No one waiting at single register between personal care and garden center. 2 female employees there, one helping a customer, the other 8 ft away putting new product on a shelf who glanced at me a few times and said, " Do you need help?" I said " Yes, I'd like to get this rung up." She told me, " OH, you can go ahead up to the main registers" She could see I was handicapped and I explained I didn't want to wait in those VERY long lines for one of 2 assisted cashiers that were open. ( She had been operating the register I was at a few brief minutes before). She then turned away and ignored me.
I do my absolute BEST to avoid Walmart, but it's become something of a necessary evil. Target, on the other hand is an absolute pleasure with great customer service but doesn't have a few things I buy regularly.

Changed the store around. Employees not only don’t pay attention but I have seen them try to get out of helping someone. They also talk very inappropriately with each other using foul language.

Had to come back the next day for something under lock and key because no one was available to get the key.

Employees have cut people off to get to the register because they are on break or something.

Place has gone to the dogs. Walmart use to be enjoyable to get what you need. Now it’s all locked up and they pick the person carrying g the heaviest thing out the door to check on even though they had their receipt in their hand and struggle if with the product.

If they didn’t have as many things as they did I would stop coming to Walmart.

Used to be good They locked everything up and the employees from electronics are horrible three items I was trying to buy the person said they didn't have and they did, I was waved off and dismissed when asking for help OPENING THE CAGES TO OBTAIN THE ITEMS THEY DIDNT SELL... I had a five star review from just one year ago. This has been one of the most disappointing changes to a store I used to like. Miserable employees who hate their job run off customers.
