Very nice laundromat! Lots of new efficient washers and dryers. Only took 1 1/2 hours to wash, dry and fold 5 loads. I arrived at 10:30 am and was only one here. I also like the fact that I can pay by phone. Highly recommend TR Laundromat. Only thing was bathrooms had no soap, hand dryer broken and nothing to dry hand with.

Absolutely love this laundromat! It's spotless, with brand-new machines, and the prices are on point. The option to use both coins and an app is super convenient. One particularly innovative feature that caught my attention was the unique drying function that alternates between back and forth movements instead of the typical circular motion. This not only ensures even drying but also helps in preserving the quality of the fabrics. To top it off, the owners are incredibly friendly and even celebrated their 7-month opening with a BBQ for all the customers! It's the little things that make a big difference. Highly recommend a visit!

I just went here and when I tell you your clothes look brand new after washing and drying, THEY LOOK BRAND NEW AFTER WASHING AND DRYING. Very modern and easy to be at, the bathroom is clean, the whole place is clean overall. You could pay through the app they give or with quarters, if you have bills you can exchange them at the machine at the front for quarters. I love this place and I will definitely come again!

TR Laundromart is my goto laundry place and I must say, the cleanliness and overall facilities were impeccable.

The machines were in excellent working condition, and there was a wide variety of options to choose from, accommodating all types of laundry needs. The cleanliness of the machines and the entire space reassured me that my clothes would be handled with care.

The owner was also incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a smooth laundry experience. The availability of various detergents and folding tables added to the convenience.

Pros (there’s A LOT):
#1 Inclusivity::
The owner is welcoming and makes every effort to create an inclusive environment. After doing laundry in New York for many years, I wasn’t expecting this. He has flags up on the wall in the laundromat from different countries- if you request your country’s flag, he’ll put it up. He also agreed to hang up a banner from my university further demonstrating his effort to be inclusive. I’ve even heard reggae (Bob Marley) and Motown music playing at the laundromat on multiple occasions which again made me feel welcomed. I’ve heard great things about the owner’s wife as well further showing that they’re good people.
#2 Environment/ambience:
The place has a good feel to it. It’s clean, quiet and relaxing. Everyone is friendly! You can even ask Alexa on the music speaker to play music of your choice. As a student, I’m able to just slow down and enjoy an hour or so doing something “human” (my laundry) because of this.
#3 Efficient and quality service
The machines are both new and fast. It takes about 25 mins to wash a load and 30 mins to dry for me. That means I get to be out of there in about an hour! My clothes are also clean and fresh at the end of each wash. I’ve never had soap stains or had my skin itch due to soap residues (which was why I stopped using the machines in my building). You can also use the app or coins to pay for the machines. You’ll only need to sign up on the app for your first use. After that, it’s very convenient to add money and use. If you wish to use coins; there’s a coin machine.
#4 Free donuts and coffee on Sunday mornings
Enough said! Obviously, it’s until supplies last so don’t go there at 11 am expecting them.

Con:
#1 My only con is the price. I spend about $4 to wash and $1.50 to dry for small loads. As a student, every penny counts, However, I’m obviously willing to pay given the many pros that comes with doing my laundry here. That includes efficiency and quality (it didn’t make sense paying $2 a load at my building just to spend over 2 hours doing laundry that many times came out bad).The machines are also high quality- you’ll notice the difference. I also still gave them 5 stars so this should say a lot.

Overall, I highly recommend this place! If you’re a student or have a busy life, just multitask while there. Better yet, don’t do anything and take some time to relax while doing laundry. You deserve to relax/slow down and the environment will allow for it.

this is a very clean and organized laundromat, with clean and new machines. cost is $9 for a regular wash and $1.50 for a regular dry. very nice owners—definitely recommend if you need a West Haven area laundromat!
