Still waiting for my refund phoned three times, emailed a number of times. Keep promising me it will be paid in a couple days and it's never there. They have taken so much commission for what? When I'm.doing all the chasing for my money. Absolutely joke. Avoid this company day light robbery. Thieves.

Dreadful customer service from this company. Been told my cheque as been sent to these and have used once before and they take 37.5 of your actual refund.
Complete joke
Just received another letter from hm revenue saying I'm owed another refund and they have sent it to this company again.
Just spoken to a woman on the phone to be told they take 37.5% of your refund and apparently 20% is for VAT and they only take 17.5%...... ONLY? Absolutely shocking.
After reading these reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one to have received this same shocking service. From a company who claim to pride themselves in great customer service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Super easy to use service, received a tax refund that I had no idea I was eligible for. Was owed 3 years of marriage tax refunds but didn't know I had to apply for these. Thanks TR, made the process easy!

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this 'firm'. They are scammers.

They've fraudulently claimed our Marriage Allowance - HMRC paid it directly to them in Oct 2023, and we haven't received any monies whatsoever.

They even claimed for years we weren't married and not entitled, and now HMRC are recovering that overpayment from us!

It's so upsetting what they have done. We are now in a position where TRFA have our money and we're having to pay HMRC back the money these people fraudulently claimed.

We have reported them to HMRC and Action Fraud. Would've given no stars but Google doesn't let me! Avoid!

They're registered on Companies House with 2 'Directors' called Tanzeel Ur REHMAN and Victor Oyewole OJO (anyone can register a company here, legit or otherwise).

NB - you can claim Marriage Allowance directly via the HMRC website.

Absolutely disgusting customer service I've just been hung up on and she just didn't listen at all.
I've been waiting ages for my rebate, sent emails but they've been ignored, left voice mails they've been ignored. Spoke to someone got hung up on Absolutely disgusting.
I will be finding out where I can put a complaint in hopefully someone will listen to my concerns. I just want my rebate then to cancel my involvement with you.
If I could leave 0 stars I would.

If I could give zero (or minus) stars, I would!
100% AVOID!! After 2 weeks of trying to contact them, to no avail, I was bullied on a call, and my complaints ignored.
After repeatedly calling the number on their website, I was told by an angry lady to stop calling, and she'd never heard of TR Forensic Accountants. The contact request on their website doesn't work. Despite having my email and phone number, they made no attempt to contact me. I was only able to get a response after contacting a manager on LinkedIn, whom I found due to checking the management names on the Companies House website. When I finally received a call I was reduced to tears due to the rude and bullying behaviour of Angela - I was querying the almost 50% charge of the fees I was owed, asI feel this is outrageous. When I emailed a complaint, I was ignored and only got a response when I again contacted them via LinkedIn. Angela called back and apologised for her "colleague," pretending it wasn't her I'd just spoken with. When I asked her if she was the one I spoke to before, she was rude and ended the call. It has been months, and they are still ignoring my emails and voicemails asking for the complaint due to Angela's behaviour to be addressed. The behaviour of Angela on the call was akin to the bullying experienced in high school.
Clearly, this company do not care about people and just want to take all the money they can from you, for doing little work. I'm appalled at the behaviour of this company and would advise anyone considering using them to stay as far away as possible.
My concerns about the communication issues were ignored, despite my provision of screenshots, evidence of the calls I've been making to them, unsuccessfully, and screenshots with the error code of their broken contact form on their website. Angela called me a liar, despite the evidence provided, and repeatedly hung up on me whenever I called. 100% AVOID!!
Took ages of me chasing them and them ignoring me to even get paid, too. Outrageous and unprofessional behaviour.

They got my tax refund 3 weeks ago and said I would be paid by Friday. I'm still waiting and can't reach them on the phone. I'm beginning to think I've been scammed
